While there, she completed a transitional residency at Damas Hospital before bringing her considerable skills to the United States. Dr. Santos-Piñero finished residency programs in obstetrics and gynecology at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn and Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York.
In addition to her extensive medical experience, she is certified in neonatal resuscitation program (NRP) and has contributed to numerous publications on chemistry and women’s health. She has been involved in extensive clinical research to improve the understanding of complex medical issues like endometriosis.
When Dr. Santos-Piñero isn’t providing comprehensive women’s healthcare, she enjoys active hobbies like traveling, hiking, kayaking, and snorkeling and more relaxed activities like crafting and reading.
